Red X is a mysterious identity used by multiple characters within the DC Universe, primarily associated with the Teen Titans. The first Red X appeared during Geoff Johns' run on the Teen Titans comic book, and later in the Teen Titans animated series, where the identity was initially adopted by Dick Grayson, operating undercover. Grayson, as Robin, intended to infiltrate the extremist group operating within Jump City. However, his methods were deemed too extreme, and he abandoned the persona.

The Red X costume, powered by the unstable element Xenothium, grants the user teleportation abilities through the use of throwable "X" shaped objects. The true origins and manufacturer of the suit, beyond the implication it was designed by someone with knowledge of the future, remain largely unknown.

Later, in the DC Rebirth continuity, a new Red X emerged. This individual’s identity was deliberately concealed, and their motives were unclear, initially depicted as an antagonist before developing into a more ambiguous, and occasionally helpful, figure. Several characters are suspected to be the new Red X within the current comic run, including Brick Pettirosso. This individual's goals continue to evolve, marking a continuing enigma within the Teen Titans narrative.
